I'm not sure you're going to get a well-known band in that amount of time unless you have connections. However you could ask a well-known local band to perform (they're more likely to do it for free). Well-known bands need to be contacted probably at least 6 months in advance because of their busy schedules. You also might do some research and find out which band supports which charity and ask the one that supports your cause. Keep that in mind for next year. Good luck!

The Burden of (a) Perfection(ist)?

I'm an A student. And my whole family and me are great at math. But I just got my geometry grade for the half quarter and it is bad. I nervously told my dad and he yelled at me and grounded me. I'm great at algebra so why do I struggle with geometry? What do I do? My dad never realizes all the progress I make nd all the things I'm good at. He only sees the bad and how I can improve. I'm really upset not only because my dad is mad, but because I'm disappointed in my grade. I feel like my academics are falling apart. In the second quarter my lack of attendance (I don't do mornings well and my anxiety gives me anxiety sickness) caused my gym cl to be a 65 (even though I'm the only girl who tries and I wasn't absent THAT much). I don't even know what my question is. I just want help.

What would make a window smash without being hit?

Got home last night to a smashed window. The thing is, it was the sliding part of the window that was smashed and because the window was open, it was protected by the outside fixed pane of gl (which was still intact). It looks like something has hit it from inside the house. Nothing is near the window which might have hit it. No one was home either to throw anything at the window. The venetion blinds were all the way down and resting on the sill but they were turned to the open position. In front of the window is a long bath so you couldnt accidentally fall against the window. I cant find any reason why it smashed. Any ideas?
