Have you ever heard wood knocking you think could be caused by Bigfoot?

I have been hearing something the last three nights around 2am-3am or so. I will hear 3 or 4 thuds like wood-on-wood behind my home which is surrounded by deciduous forest in a state forest. I've lived here for years and never heard anything like it.
