Would it be crazy to apply to all 5 colleges of a 5-college consortium?

There are 5 colleges in Machusetts that are all connected to each other by proximity and other ways. I'm very interested in one or two of them and moderately interested in the others. would it be crazy to apply to all 5? at least one of them asks what other schools you are applying to. would it look weird to have applied to the other 4 schools it is affiliated with? can they see each other's applications?
