Paid my 3 delinquent bills that were charged off on my credit report...what now??

I disputed the negative items on my report through all three agencies online, hoping when they verified they would change the balances to 0$ and remove the delinquent status. Is this enough? Who do I go to in order to possibly remove the account from my credit file now, the collection agency or the financial institution?? any help would be appreciated i am currently serving overseas in Iraq, and want to get my credit fixed so I can purchase a home once i return. My score is 540 right now, two accounts, one mastercard and one bank loan that went delinquent and were charged off, and a past electric bill from a year ago. All three I just paid off before I sent in the disputes...
