How can i prove that i am good at snare drum?

Ok so i just had a concert like an hour ago and i dont think i did that good one of the snare players in the marching band said that i could play in wind symphony which is 3 levels higher than what i am in now concert band. He said that i was the best in concert band..... and the people in concert band suck. He used to say that i was the best player and had the best hands out of all the freshman and sophmores. How do i prove to him that i am great again cause i am this concert just sucked and the other drummers sounded better because they werent nervous. Should i ask the snare player to have a drum off or something? How do i prove to him that i am really good at snare because i am how can i show him that i am good
