I think i have post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation should i go see a doctor?

I have a post inflammatory hyperpigmentation its really extensive.I had a fungal infection which got worse and it became infected causing me to have hyperpigmentation scars on my ,groin area and inner thigh should i go see a doctor again? Its been healed for a long time because of heavy antibiotics but the scars remain. I want to enlist in the military but i think they wont let me ? any advice towards what i should do?
