Poll: Traditional comic books versus Manga?

As a girl, I like manga much more than American comic books. While the art work is better in American comics, there is more variety for girls with manga. With American comics its a hero or anti-hero saving the city/world/universe from the villains. Aside from maybe a 1/2 dozen or so graphic novels that are female friendly this is what the majority of American comics seem to be like. At lest with manga you can have themes such as romance, tragedy, paranormal, school-life, action, sports, etc.
