God is a God Of Love is he God of wrath to?

God is love, but can be wrath. I like to put it as I love my kids, but when they do wrong I will punish them. I don't want them to do anything bad, but I cannot be there every minute of every day of their lives to make sure they don't mess up. But if they do and ask forgivness I forgive. God is the same way. He wants all to be in Heaven, but allows people to choose their own path even if it leads to destruction. If a person rejects God and His teachings, God allows them to go to the place they have chosen. The only recourse is to ask for forgiveness and try to never do those things again.
