About Prison Break Season 2, why does the Company (Kim) want all the 8 fugitives killed?

I thought that all they wanted was to kill Scofield and Burrows, but why do they want all 8 escapees killed? besides the fact that they may know a little about some conspiracy, what is the underlying reason?
