Why are we in America and the West so ashamed of our culture (Christmas)?

Perhaps Christians should be ashamed of the fact that the stole the Winter Solstice celebration from the pagans. Jesus is a mythical sun god, like Mithras, Zeus/Jupiter, Horus, Attis, Dionysus, Adonis, Tammuz, Hercules, Perseus, Bacchus, Apollo, Helios, and Sol Invictus -- whose birthdays are also on the old winter solstice of December 25, when the sun is “reborn.”
