Friend Trouble!!! Help!!!?

So... my English cl is having us do a poetry project. My friend called me up wondering who I was going to do it on. I told her Dorathy Parker (one of both of our favorite poets.) She said that she was gonna do it on her too and that she already had half a page essay done. She said that if I did Dorothy Parker, that she would have to change her project. I feel guilty. What do I do???
