Taking food to Italy?? Beans and cava.?

Hello. I am going to Italy this summer and I was wondering if taking a few cans or bags of black beans would be okay. I am Cuban and will be leaving out of Miami to visit someone who lives in Italy. I'd also like to take a box of espresso coffee beans. Thank You!
